Lauzon is an entrepreneurial success deeply rooted in the Canadian forest.
Our history
The Lauzon company was born from a dream David Lauzon had in 1985, while walking the forests of the Outaouais region in Quebec. That young man’s dream combined with a small initial investment has been transformed into an international company. Lauzon is recognized as a premiere Quebec manufacturer with activities reaching the communities of the Outaouais, the Laurentians, Lanaudière, and Mauricie.
Lauzon is a diversified and vertically integrated group, with a team of 500 people. They harvest precious wood using eco-responsible methods, process the logs in their own sawmill (the largest hardwood sawmill in Canada), and transforms it into high quality products such as prefinished floors, wood pellets for heating and finishing lumber for the woodworking and the furniture industry.

Lauzon is a family-owned company employing more than 500 employees. Head office and administrative facility is located in Papineauville Quebec. Sales teams are spread across North America. Manufacturing plants are located in 5 Quebec locations:
- Maniwaki, Outaouais : floor manufacturing;
- Papineauville, Outaouais: floor and wood pellet manufacturing;
- Saint-Norbert, Lanaudière: floor manufacturing
- Thurso, Outaouais: sawmill
- Saint-Paulin, Mauricie: wood pellet manufacturing
