Report 2023, combating forced labor

Report to the minister on the measures taken by the institution during its last fiscal year to prevent and mitigate the risk of forced labor or child labor at any stage of the production of goods produced, purchased, or distributed by the federal institution.

Financial period covered: December 1, 2022, to November 30, 2023.

As Lauzon is an integrated company, we control a large part of the transformation of inputs into final products ourselves.

Our suppliers:

Initially, the trade of raw wood and wooden floors is not a sector that uses forced labor. Our industry requires expertise from employees and traditionally allows customer visits. • South American suppliers of wood components:

  • Low risk of forced labor.

  • We have frequently visited these suppliers and have never observed children working in these facilities.

  • Wood flooring factories in Asia:

  • Low risk of forced labor.

  1. b) Policies and due diligence processes related to forced labor and child labor; We do not have any.
